Reviews
This is such a good first book for a series! It starts with the birth of the main character, Jaspen, and we follow him through life. I really enjoyed how quickly we get through Jaspen’s early years while feeling like I learned what was important. Then we get to the present, where Jaspen does whatever he can to overcome prejudice and begins to learn many new things about himself and his past. I am excited to see where this series will go, and I can’t wait to get back into this world!
I fell in love with Jaspen! The way the author took you thew the life of Jaspen and how strong he is and how he over comes what life throws at him! I can't wait to see what becomes of him and his adventures in his life!
Great story. Once I started reading the book I couldn't put it down. I am looking forward to the next one!
